Old Ottawa City Hall, now the John. G. Diefenbaker Building of Global Affairs Canada, a Department of the Government of Canada – from the South. The image is of the rear of the new addition, with the original City Hall building at the back. Addition designed by Murray & Murray Architects, Ottawa and Moshe SafdieArchitects, USA – and opened in 1992. Original City Hall Building is the eight floor building in the rear at 111 Sussex Drive, Ottawa and was designed by Rother, Bland and Trudeau Architects, and opened in 1958, when it won a Massey medal.
