A picture of 15 men in a war canoe, 1905. The men are wearing sleevelss uniforms with two stripes across the chest and waist. The man at the back is wearing a hat. Their paddles are at the ready. In the background are the bridge and Town Hall. On the left side of the river are Findlay buildings. There are also buildings that are on Bridge Street. National Archives number C 29322.
