Imperial Theatre

The Imperial Theatre in Ottawa, also known as Canada's Theatre Beautiful, officially opened in 1914 at 323 Bank Street. It operated as a fully functioning theatre for the city where films would be screened until 1955. After the theatre was closed, the building functioned as a furniture store for numerous years, followed by a burlesque house, and later and currently as Barrymore's Music Hall. The original building at its time introduced a beautiful site that brought excitement to the metropolis of Ottawa.
