Westboro Gas Station

The Westboro Gas Station was first constructed in 1934 to be a gas station for motor vehicles. This building is one of the few examples of an early drive-thru gas station remaining in Canada. Its unique cottage-like character, age, and prominent location has caught the attention of heritage activists who are against redevelopment on top of the site as it is a symbol of historical development in Ottawa.
