Aerial view of the Old Ottawa City Hall, now the John. G. Diefenbaker Building of Global Affairs Canada, a Department of the Government of Canada – from the north west. The image is of the entire campus, with the original eight floor City Hall building to the front left. The new addition was designed by Murray & Murray Architects, Ottawa and Moshe SafdieArchitects, USA – and opened in 1992. Original City Hall Building is the eight floor building on Sussex Drive, designed by Rother, Bland and Trudeau Architects, and opened in 1958, when it won a Massey medal.
